Quick Start Tutorial

Get Veronica configured and ready to use in just a few minutes with this step-by-step guide.

Step 1: Invite Veronica

Click Invite Link

Invite Veronica to your server
Authorization request sent.

Select Server

Choose your server from the dropdown menu.
Destination server targetted.

Authorize

Click “Authorize” to grant permissions and complete the arrival.
Veronica is now a member of your server!
Make sure to grant Administrator permissions for full functionality.

Step 2: Position Bot Role

Open Server Settings

Click your server name → Server Settings → Roles.
Role manager active.

Position Veronica's Role

Drag the bot’s role near the top (below your owner/admin roles).
Bot authority established above members.
Veronica needs to be above roles it manages for moderation commands to work properly.

Step 3: Set Your Prefix

Choose a custom prefix for your server:
Popular Prefixes:
  • ! - Exclamation mark
  • ? - Question mark
  • > - Greater than
  • . - Period

Step 4: Configure Auto-Moderation

Protect your server from spam and toxicity:

Open Auto-Mod Panel

Interactive control panel launched.

Enable Core Modules

Select and toggle: Anti-Spam, Anti-Invite, and Anti-Phishing.
Core safety barriers engaged.

Configure Thresholds

Customize sensitivity settings for each active module.
Custom safety logic saved.

Step 5: Set Up Jail System

Initialize the jail system for user isolation:

Run Setup Command

Verify Creation

Check that:
  • “Jailed” role was created
  • #jail channel was created
  • Channel permissions were updated

Test Jail

Try jailing a test account to verify it works.
