Sticky Messages

Sticky Messages are persistent messages that automatically “stick” to the bottom of a channel. Every time a new message is sent, Veronica deletes the old sticky and reposts it at the end of the chat, ensuring critical info like rules or links are never missed.

How to use

Managing stickies is simple with the /stickymessage command.
1

Add a Sticky

Choose a channel and provide the content you want to keep visible.

Best Practices

Long sticky messages can be distracting and take up too much screen space. Use short, impactful text and emojis.
Veronica is optimized to handle stickies efficiently, but avoid adding them to extremely high-traffic channels where new messages are sent multiple times per second.
Veronica requires Manage Messages and Send Messages permissions to delete and repost stickies effectively.
Sticky messages are reposted only after a new message is sent in the channel. They do not update if the last message in the channel is already the sticky message.
