Best Practices

Create a #boosts or #server-boosts channel to celebrate boosters publicly and encourage others to boost.
Express genuine gratitude and highlight the benefits boosters bring to the community.
Show current boost count and tier to create excitement and track progress toward the next tier.
Enable DM messages for a more personal touch, but respect users who have DMs disabled.

Boost Tiers

Discord servers have three boost tiers with increasing perks:
TierBoosts RequiredPerks
Tier 12 Boosts50 emoji slots, 128 Kbps audio
Tier 27 Boosts150 emoji slots, 256 Kbps audio, banner
Tier 314 Boosts250 emoji slots, 384 Kbps audio, vanity URL
Celebrate boost milestones (Tier 1, Tier 2, Tier 3) with special announcements to encourage more boosts!

Troubleshooting

  • Verify booster messages are enabled
  • Check that the channel still exists
  • Ensure Veronica has Send Messages permission in the channel
  • User may have DMs disabled
  • User may have blocked the bot
  • This is normal and expected for some users
  • Check Vero Syntax for typos
  • Ensure all ${} blocks are properly closed
  • Test message with /booster panel preview
Booster messages are sent automatically when a member boosts the server. There’s no delay or manual trigger required.
